When Kody was 2 years old he developed allergies and when we took him for SEDS (which is what they call the allergy tests for dogs), they discovered he was so allergic to commercial dog foods of all kinds that he was vomiting and couldn't keep any brand down. He also could not tolerate cooked food at all.
For years we fed him raw Alaskan pollock fish mixed with raw vegetables. He was doing fine on that as a steady diet, but after 8 years of it, he started to lose interest. It was then that we discovered that the pollock we had been using was all sent to China for processing and the risk of it being processed in dirty water made us uncomfortable.
It was then that our holistic vet told us about Red Dog.
We have purchased the bison and elk and found the chicken, with all the natural additives, very beneficial. Kody has never had to be coaxed to eat again. His health and his attitude about meal time are once again positive.
We are extremely impressed by the quality of the food we receive from RED DOG.
His digestion is great, his stools are soft and disintigrate into the dirt within a couple of days.
He enjoys the flavour because it is most like the food we eat (and he loves the small tastes of that which we give him.)
We have travelled long distances on many occasions to purchase the food and are glad we did.
